“The Office” Star To Play Lead Role In Benghazi Story
John Krasinski of The Office and Away We Go will play one of the lead characters in 13 Hours, Michael Bay’s big screen adaptation of Mitchell Zuckoff’s recently released book of the same name.
The true story revolves around the events of September 11, 2012. On that date, terrorists attacked the US State Department Special Mission Compound and the Annex, a CIA station, in Benghazi, Libya.
A team of six American security specialists fought to the attackers in an attempt to protect the Americans stationed there.
Chuck Hogan, who wrote The Town and who also co-wrote The Strain, has adapted the Paramount Pictures project.
