Affleck’s Batman To Get Stand Alone Movie
To date, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has grossed up nearly $800 million at the worldwide box office. That’s probably the reason why Warners has green lit a stand-alone movie starring Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader.
According to Comingsoon.net, Kevin Tsujihara, the chairman and CEO of Warner Bros, recently confirmed that Affleck will indeed star in and direct his own Batman adventure. Tsujihara was speaking at the recent annual Cinemacon in Las Vegas.
In the meantime, Justice League is already rolling before the cameras in London.
Affleck, Cavill and Gadot are joined by Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller).
Zack Snyder, who helmed Dawn of Justice, will serve in the same capacity on the project, which also stars Amber Heard as Queen Mara and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
The movie is slated to hit theatres in November 2017.
