Cage Will Pay A Ghost
Looks like Nicolas Cage is heading back into the supernatural realm.
The star has signed on to headline Pay the Ghost, a project based on the short tale by Tim Lebbon.
The story, to be directed by Uli Udell, concerns the abduction of a young couple’s son on Halloween night. After they begin to sense his precense, one year after the abduction, the couple search for their son throughout New York and discover a vengeful spirit.
Voltage Films, the company resonsible for titles such as Dallas Buyers Club and The Hurt Locker, is producing the project.
Uli Udell previously helmed The Baader Meinhof Complex, a film which explores the Red Army Faction (RAF), a German terrorist group which carried out a series of assassinations, robberies and kidnappings during the ’70s.
