From Westeros To The Tardis
Maisie Williams, best known as the sword wielding Arya Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones, is to make a special guest appearance on Dr. Who.
Steven Moffat, Dr. Who’s head writer and executive producer, is keeping very tight lipped about Williams’ character, but he does say, according to Variety, that she is going to “challenge the doctor in very unexpected ways.”
He also says the good Doctor may be out of his depth this time around, and expects Williams’ character to “give him exactly the right sort of hell.”
During her first day on set, Williams said that she was excited to be working on Dr. Who and could not wait to begin filming with the cast and crew.
Williams will soon be seen in director Carol Morley’s The Falling, which concerns a fainting epidemic among students at a strict British girls school during the ’60s.
She also starred in Cyberbully, a docudrama which recently aired on Britain’s Channel 4 TV network, in which she played a teenager who lives virtually her entire life online and who is accused of cyber bullying.
