“Horror Story” Goes Gaga
Lady Gaga is to star in the upcoming fifth season of FX’s American Horror Story.
The network made the announcement yesterday, so it looks like Ms. Gaga will be a full-blown regular when the season premiers later this year.
Additional casting has not yet been announced, and it’s still not known as to whether Jessica Lange will be back. Previously, the star had said that the fourth season would be her last. However, it’s always possible that series creator Ryan Murphy and producer Brad Falchuk can persuade her to come back.
As for the storyline, FX is keeping extremely tight lipped. However, Lady Gaga dropped a hint when she tweeted “Hotel. Make your reservation now.”
We’ll keep you posted so stay tuned.
On a far sadder note, meanwhile, Ben Woolf, who had starred in the show, died this past week after being hit by the side mirror of a passing car. 34-year old Woolf, who was four-foot-four, had been crossing a road in Los Angeles.
Zack Teperman, Woolf’s publicist, told the Associated Press that the actor, who was taken to Cedar Sinai Medical Center, passed away with his family at his side.
