Joaquin Pheonix and M. Night Shyamalan May Reunite
Joaquin Pheonix and director M. Night Shyamalan may be reuniting for a new, currently untitled, project, according to Deadline.
The two previously worked together on Shyamalan’s 2002 and 2004 titles Signs and The Village respectively.
The director is keeping the storyline under very tight wraps, but we can report that the project is currently due to go before the cameras this November in Philadelphia.
Jason Blum, who previously produced Shyamalan’s upcoming The Visit, in which two young children discover that something is terribly wrong with their grandparents, will serve as producer on this project.
Shymalan also executive produces and directed the pilot of Wayward Pines.
