Into this mix comes yet another property – The Psychopath Test – starring the actress. The project, to be directed by Jay Roach, is based on Jon Ronson’s non-fiction book of the same name.
In his book, which has been a best-seller in the US and UK especially, Ronson explores the madness industry and interviews people who are apparently considered to be psychopaths. The books also serves up interviews with the medical support staff who are charged with taking care of them, as well asand psychologist who developed the titular test.
Screenwriter Kristin Gore, known for her work on Futurama and Saturday Night Live, will write a psychological thriller from Ronson’s book. Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment are the heavy hitters responsible for bringing the title to the screen, while Brian Grazer serves as producer, along with Roach and his company Everyman Pictures.
