“X-Files” May Return To TV
Fox Television is currently on talks to revive The X-Files, according to its Group chairman Gary Newman.
Newman made the announcement at the recent TCA Press tour in Pasadena California, a twice yearly event that allows TV networks to showcase new and existing shows to the press.
Newman also said that they would like to bring back stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, but nothing has been confirmed at the time of this writing.
Created by Chris Carter, The X-Files, which spanned more than two hundred episodes ran from 1993 to 2002. Grabbing up over 20 Emmy nominations, the series spawned two feature films, a spin off series entitled The Lone Gunmen and merchandise such as comic books and video games.
